walnut grove Kitchen renovation

This late 80’s home was brought into the 2020’s with a calming neutral kitchen. The narrow shaker style, cream cabinetry, with brushed gold hardware showcases the current trends while maintaining timeless beauty. The cabinet paneled double dishwasher drawer is a subtle way of blending function and beauty (did you wonder where the dishwasher was?!). The original space was enclosed with a wall, and the door and window were moved to allow for the best possible layout for this family. Sometimes moving a door or a window is the key to making your home work for you.

contemporary Re-fresh

This kitchen has a clean look with minimal detail. Claire featured accents of wood cabinetry to warm up the white kitchen and then tied it all together with a grey quartz countertop. The backsplash is a key element in this space, adding texture and scale using white washed, plank style tiles (always to the ceiling!). In this case, making the kitchen ‘smaller’ (by removing a 2 foot jog in the back wall), gave more room to an ensuite bathroom that really needed it on the other side. Forrest hills - ikea kitchen

Taking over the formal dining room is one of the easiest ways to grow the size of your kitchen. Most people don’t need 2 dining areas in their home, and this is one way to reclaim some valuable square footage. This kitchen was a tight U-shape before, and now it’s very spacious with a large island, and a walk in pantry! Claire chose the Axtad door style from Ikea, and customized specific details to elevate beyond the typical Ikea look.

view royal, transitional charm

This transitional kitchen is hardly recognizable from the before photo. Custom white bevel shaker cabinetry, a cook book rack and wine display on the island are details that set a this kitchen apart. Notice the two different granite countertops that work perfectly together in this space. Scroll through to see what this space looked like before!

Fernwood - minimalist

This 100 year old home was made new again with a modern minimalist style. The edge slope on the cabinet drawer fronts provide handles, without the distraction of actual hardware.

ten mile point, traditional elegance

This cozy kitchen is classic in many ways. The Cherry island anchors the space while complimenting the white shaker cabinetry (by Jason Good Custom Cabinets). The granite countertop has an ogee edge profile, enhancing the traditional style of this space.

Willows Beach - Industrial Modern

A dramatic renovation changed every aspect of this 100 year old charming beach front home. Ready for a new chapter, this home has all the modern conveniences that it deserves. Incorporating metal into this design through cabinet door frames, and a feature base kick on the pantry wall; it truly stands out from all the rest.
